About us
Building the future of project management in civil construction
Coordly was born from the practical experience at the construction site, from the restlessness with inefficient processes and from the vision that technology can and needs to transform the way we design and build.
2015 → 2016
The beginning: Maleta do Engenheiro
Coordly's story began in 2015, rooted in the academic and professional experience of its founder, Romeu Neto, who brought into practice the knowledge gained through research on BIM (Building Information Modeling). During that period, the first ideas emerged for creating a platform capable of solving common challenges in the construction industry: disorganized documents, lack of standardization, and the difficulty of accessing the right information at the right time.
It was in this context that the first version of Maleta do Engenheiro was born, the name that would later evolve into what is now Coordly.
2017 → 2018
Prototyping and early learning
With the first prototypes, the team began experimenting with solutions such as web-based 2D and 3D model visualization, file naming and version control, and integration with cloud storage services.
This phase was marked by significant learning: understanding how engineers, architects, and managers handled project files and how difficult it was to ensure organization and traceability in their daily routines. The experience revealed a huge opportunity for innovation by centralizing and simplifying access to information.
2019
First MVP
In 2019, the first MVP of Maleta do Engenheiro was released. It already included essential features such as project registration, discipline configuration, document versioning, integration with Google Drive and Dropbox, as well as 2D and 3D model visualization.
This milestone was essential to validate the value proposition: offering an accessible and practical solution to centralize construction project information in a single environment. The product gained traction and began being used in real projects, confirming that document management challenges were common across the entire construction industry.
2020 → 2021
Growth and new resources
The following years marked the maturation of the solution. The platform began offering new features, such as plot tracking with QR-code traceability, ensuring that only the correct document versions were used on-site. In addition, a mobile app was developed, expanding the platform’s accessibility for engineers and teams working directly in the field.
This period also solidified a culture of continuous evolution: listening to customers, learning from their challenges, and turning feedback into ongoing improvements.
2022 → Future
The transformation into Coordly
In 2022, the former Maleta do Engenheiro officially became Coordly, marking a new phase of expansion, professionalization, and brand strengthening. With new strategic partners and improved governance, Coordly began operating nationwide with a clear purpose: to be the digital coordination platform that connects people, processes, and documents in a single place.
